New weekly feature: Coulter outrageous quote of the week

With the appearance of rightwing hatemonger Ann Coulter at Cleary University’s Economic Club Speakers Luncheon Series less than seven months away we here at the Conservative Media are starting a new feature. We will examine the body of Coulter’s “work” by posting one of her offensive, hateful and ridiculous quotes every week leading up to her appearance in October.

The goal of this campaign is to save Cleary University more than $30,000 and the embarrassment of embracing this woman’s discriminatory positions. Her appearance will also reinforce the general perception that Livingston County is a safe haven for racists and bigots of all ilks, like Coulter. To quote a friend of mine about Coulter’s appearance, “While I fully endorse the concept that the University should be a marketplace of ideas, I maintain that racism and bigotry are not products worthy of barter in that marketplace.”

We will also be staring a campaign to pressure the sponsors, as well as the university, not to embrace and promote her racist and discriminatory views. We would no more invite the Klan here to speak, so why are we inviting Coulter and paying her 30 grand to do it? Toward than end we will also be posting contacts of the groups and people sponsoring her appearance.

The Coulter quote of the week:
“Oh, and I was going to have a few comments on the other Democratic presidential candidate, John Edwards. But it turns out that you have to go into rehab if you use the word "faggot," so I'm -- so I'm kind of at an impasse, can't really talk about Edwards. So I think I'll just conclude here and take your questions.” March 2, 2007, the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC).

If you want to contact Cleary University and tell them this is unacceptable here’s how:
